FDIME ANNOUNCED THE AWARD OF 2 RESEARCH GRANTS in 2016
The Foundation for the Development of Internal Medicine in Europe (FDIME) has awarded 2 grants of 10,000 Euros each to Young Internist Researchers:-
Dr Giulio Cavalli (Italy) and Dr Maxime Samson (France)
The Grants will assist with their living expenses whilst they undertake their rare disease research studies at 2 host institutes in The Netherlands and in Spain. Their research will commence in November 2016 and will focus on ‘Genetic bases of auto-inflammation in adult-onset Still’s disease’ and ‘HuMosc for cellular therapy in Giant Cell Arteritis’.
The Research Grant Awards will be presented to Dr Cavalli and Dr Samson during the ECIM Congress in Milan on 1 - 2 September 2017. Congress website: www.ecim2017.org
