Why donate to FDIME?
All research and educational activities undertaken through FDIME are sponsored entirely by donations. We therefore seek financial support from individuals, from private and public organizations, associations and companies, and from Industry to support these activities.
The Foundation for the Development of Internal Medicine in Europe (FDIME)
- Is a Swiss foundation recognized of public interest with fiscal privileges at the cantonal and federal level. Hence your donation is tax deductible.
- FDIME subscribes to TGE (Transnational Giving Europe) which enables supporters in European countries to donate with the benefit of tax relief.
- Values your support and guarantees you that your personal information will not be shared or sold to third parties.
Donating / Sponsorship
By giving a single donation or becoming a regular sponsor, your contribution (whether large or small) will help to:
- Secure the Mission and Vision of the Foundation for the Development of the Internal Medicine in Europe.
- Provide educational bursaries for Young Doctors from National Societies of Internal Medicine in low income countries helping to build a better healthcare service for the future of those countries.
- Support research grants for Young Doctors to undertake important clinical research.
- Provide essential funds to facilitate medical research, mainly in the study of Rare Diseases and Auto-Immune Diseases.
- Improve healthcare for patients.
- Facilitate new therapeutic and diagnostic techniques.
- Increase the understanding of diseases dealt with by Internal Medicine.
- Encourage greater support from industry and the private sector in helping FDIME achieve its goals.
Acquiring Patronage
The Foundation offers 2 levels of Patronage
- Gold Level: requiring a minimum annual donation of Euro 20’000

- Diamond Level: requiring a minimum annual donation of Euro 100’000
