The Foundation for the Development of Internal Medicine
in Europe (FDIME) supports educational grants for ESIM-12, September 2009 in
London
The Foundation was able to sponsor 4 residents to attend
the European School of Internal Medicine held in London from 6 – 13 September
2009. A total of 73 Young Internists from 29 countries met for this one week
course.
The School is an integral part of FDIME activities, but
costs have prevented some of the less well off countries attending in the past.
Last year FDIME was pleased to be able to support 4 female Young Internists with
an educational grant: Wafa Ammouri (Morocco); Lauma Zarina (Latvia); Nonna
Netiazhenko and Halyna Mishanich (Ukraine).
